Hello party is about having a fun night out, meeting new interesting people and perhaps even finding someone special. Focus on enjoying yourself and think about this night as your great adventure. Speed dating has become an international phenomenon, and is a great, fun way to meet other singles in your city.

Upon arrival at a Hello party:
When you arrive at the party you will be greeted by our hosts who will sign you in and allocate you a starting table. There's time for a drink or something to eat, and the event begins once most of the guests have arrived. The women stay at their tables and the men start from the table marked on their badge. After four minutes getting to know your first “ date ”, the fanfare sounds and the men move on to the next table. Usually you will have about 15 dates in an evening, lasting four minutes. It might sound too short, but scientists believe it takes just 30 seconds to make a judgement on how you feel about someone. After each date, you can give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down on your “match cards” - or swap contact details directly there and then. The cards are collected by the organisers, who will email you within 48 hours with details of your “matches”. After that, it's up to you to decide who to get in touch with, and where to go for a second date!
